Royal Decree law 15/2020, of the 21st of April, entitled "Measures to reduce the operating costs of SMEs and the self-employed", establishes an ad hoc regulation for the distribution of unforeseeable risks caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in contracts for uses other than housing and industry, especially in relation to business premises that have had to be closed down as a result of the suspension of activity decreed by the Government.
We must ask ourselves whether the special legal nature of these leases applies to business premises in a shopping centre.
